I don’t know if you guys are already following me when I posted something about it (because it was during the days when I just returned to tumblr after more than a year of being on hiatus) but here’s an elaboration of that previous post some months ago:
As we all (probably) know by now, Shiraishi Kuranosuke, Fuji Syuusuke and Yukimura Seiichi are sharing the same room in the U-17 Training Camp, they are all kind and gentle looking but are not to be messed with especially when playing tennis and they all seem to share a fascination with plants (for Yukimura, it’s plants in general while for Fuji, it’s cacti and for Shiraishi it’s poisonous plants).
They have other common points like the fact that all of them are either the strongest or second strongest in their respective teams, etc etc but that isn’t the point of this post so I won’t go deeper into that.
What I want to focus on is their rather unnoticed commonality and it’s the fact that they all have something to do with the otherworldly (especially with the divinity. Let’s break it down:
For Shiraishi, it is of course, his title, The Bible. His “Bible” might have a different meaning but when we first hear the word “Bible”, the first thing that comes into our minds is the Holy Bible, right?
For Yukimura, again, it’s his title. The Child of God (or in other translations the Demigod). Need I say more? The title says it all, either his power or his connection with the divinity.
For Fuji, it’s gonna be his technique names. They all either have something to do with mythology or such creatures. Another nice thing to point out would be Sakuno’s statement in the anime during his match against Akaya where the girl commented that he looks like an angel (probably to emphasize the difference between him and Akaya).
To sum it all up, because of this commonality, I call this brOT3 the Holy Trinity. I always have and probably always will.
EDIT: Sorry. My bad. It was Tomoka and not Sakuno in episode 124 that said Fuji looked like an angel :)

Translation Ova
Thanks to this wonderful post I finally know what Tezuka said about Fuji.
So that is how Fuji shows his love eh? Interesting that he knows about that and nobody else does. If I thought this OVA couldn’t be any better with all the Alpha Pair love, I was mistaken, because it also had Perfect Pair
*criessssssssss

The whole ep was fun and it was good for Sanada to get some spotlight, but the best part was the Data pair moments.

Day 24: Favorite tennis move.
Fuji wizardry: his counters.
Just love it whenever he comes up with a new one; it’s always spectacular stuff that makes the crowd go: ohhhh.
(Found some nice Fuji fanart here: http://philadelphia13.deviantart.com/art/Fuji-Syusuke-208410466)

Perfect Pair: happy reunion.

Festival time.
Tezuka smiles a lot around Fuji~

Day 22: A character or team you used to dislike, but now like.
Hyotei.
Never cared for them much with their unfriendly beginnings. Like them now more than quite a lot of the other rival teams, though not as much as Rikkai.

Prince of Tennis 30 days challenge
Day 20: Your pick of seven players that you’d love to be on a team together
Fuji-Niou-Shiraishi-Yukimura-Kirihara-Saeki-Eiji
They would have great fun. Some of my favorites are not on this list (like Tezuka) because they would dominate the mood too much. These players together would have light-hearted mischievous fun.

Day Seventeen: Your favorite outfit worn by Atobe or Mizuki.
So much to choose from, but I finally went with this, lol.
